How to use organic fertilizer correctly

Send Time:2023-2-12

Organic fertilizer is becoming more and more important in agricultural production, so how to use organic fertilizer correctly?
Organic fertilizers should be applied after complete decomposition. Undecomposed feces in the soil through microbial decomposition and fermentation, the ammonia gas produced is easy to cause crop root burning, poisoning, some will breed weeds, spread pests and diseases. Therefore, it should be fully fermented before application. Manure tanks can be built in the fields for fermentation, or compost can be piled with water and moisten, sealed with mud, so that the temperature reaches 35-40℃, 25-30 days after fermentation, fully fermented at 60℃ conditions, can kill insect eggs and weed seeds, more effective use.
Organic fertilizers should not be concentrated or applied in excess. Especially dryland crops, if the direct application of organic fertilizer in the interrow or near the roots of crops, will lead to physiological water loss, the formation of reverse osmosis phenomenon, crop growth poor or wilting, resulting in water loss and death of seedlings, while causing soil nutrient imbalance. So organic fertilizer as a base fertilizer, to be evenly mixed in the soil, so that it and the soil integrated. When applying organic fertilizer during the growth period, it should be furrowed or applied. After applying, it should be covered with soil. Do not scatter it on the ground. High concentration liquid organic fertilizer should not be used as foliar fertilizer spray for leafy vegetables.
The loss of Drying organic fertilizer is greater. Some places are used to drying manure in the sun or topsoil, resulting in the loss of nitrogen volatility, phosphorus and potassium will also lose most of the pollution of the environment. In some places, when straw is returned to the field as an organic fertilizer source, due to insufficient fermentation and decay, and excessive concentration of the application of rice between strains and rows, a large amount of hydrogen sulfide is produced, so that the rice root turns black, the rice seedlings are delayed, and the seedlings will be stiff if not remedied in time, resulting in a decline in yield. In this case, the field should be drained immediately, and regulators such as sodium nitrophenol and other root growth promoters should be sprayed as soon as possible after draining the field, and potassium dihydrogen phosphate and urea mixed spray should be added.
Use organic fertilizers in a reasonable combination. Organic fertilizer generally contains more carbon and less nitrogen. If applied excessively, it is easy to cause nitrogen deficiency and sterility of crops in early stage. So organic fertilizer is not the more the better, the general per mu is applied 1000-1500 kg or green fertilizer 1000-1500 kg, and in the application of an appropriate amount of ammonium bicarbonate or urea, in order to adjust the ratio of carbon nitrogen, prevent microbial nitrogen phenomenon. Sheep manure in organic fertilizer has high nutrient content, fast decomposition and high fattening effect. Therefore, appropriate amount of pig manure or cow manure should be added during application to achieve the purpose of stable fattening effect. The combination of organic fertilizer and phosphate fertilizer is beneficial to improve fertilizer efficiency.
